At the beginning of the project, there were many problems with the initial room layout provided by the developer. Although the room area is relatively large in Myanmar, each room seems small and inconvenient to use due to improper layout. The space of the Buddhist hall is too large, and to increase the selling price, the developer divided it into three small rooms, making each room look cramped and uncomfortable. The living room is designed in a long strip shape, and the sofa can only be placed on one side. When entering and exiting the dining room and kitchen, you need to pass through the narrow passage between the TV and the sofa, which makes the whole space seem inconsistent and unsmooth.
We replanned the overall design plan, expanded the living room area by removing unnecessary walls, and combined the dining room and the Buddhist hall area to form an open layout. This not only improves the utilization of space but also makes the overall living environment more spacious and flexible. The new design plan makes the distribution of each functional area more reasonable, fully meeting the customer’s high standard requirements for space use.
The detailed design focuses on improving the use of light and ventilation effects. Through clever partition design and window layout, we ensure that each room can be fully lit while maintaining good ventilation effects, creating a healthy and comfortable living environment for customers. The detailed design of each space has been carefully considered to ensure both functionality and beauty. For example, the use of frosted glass not only improves privacy but also makes the entire space appear more transparent and bright.
The main door faces the bedroom and living room, lacking privacy and spatial hierarchy. To this end, we designed a light-transmitting and hidden partition made of frosted glass. Frosted glass not only maintains privacy but also allows natural light to fully penetrate, making the space appear bright and transparent. In addition, the partition design also increases the visual hierarchy of the entrance, enhancing the beauty and functionality of the overall space.
The living room design is centered on openness and comfort. By removing some walls, the living room is combined with the dining room and the Buddhist hall area to form an open layout. Light gray and light green low-saturation colors are selected to create a peaceful and comfortable living atmosphere. To increase the fluidity of the space and the visual sense of spaciousness, we incorporate a modern minimalist style into the design to make the entire living room look more fashionable and pleasant.
The selection of furniture and decoration is coordinated with the overall style. Modern minimalist style furniture is selected, which is both beautiful and practical. Through detailed decoration such as curved elements and circular design, the whole space looks harmonious and consistent. The selection of each piece of furniture and decoration is carefully selected to ensure that it is consistent with the overall design style while meeting the customer’s usage needs.
In terms of material selection, we focus on environmental protection and durability. All materials are strictly screened to ensure their beauty, practicality, and environmental protection. For example, frosted glass is both beautiful and practical, and can effectively protect privacy; dark cabinets are not only durable but also increase the depth and luxury of the space. Through the clever combination of these materials, we not only improve the quality of the space but also create an environmentally friendly and healthy living environment for customers.
We also used arc and circular elements in the design of the Buddhist hall. The background of the Buddha statue is designed as a yellow circle with lights, which makes the Buddha statue look kind and solemn. To make the niche look lighter, we adopted a suspended design, which not only makes the space look more modern and smart but also enhances the sacredness and solemnity of the Buddhist hall. Through these detailed designs, the Buddhist hall retains traditional religious elements and incorporates the fashion sense of modern design.
At the back of the restaurant, we set up a 3-meter-wide Buddha worship space for the mother, using crystal bricks as a partition, which ensures privacy without affecting the flow of light. The restaurant is designed in an L shape, and through the reasonable arrangement of accessories, it is both beautiful and practical, meeting the customer’s high standard requirements for the dining environment. The design of the Buddha worship space is simple and generous, integrated with the overall space, which not only meets religious needs but also enhances the overall beauty of the space.
The kitchen design fully considers functionality and aesthetics. Dark cabinets are used to increase the depth and luxury of the space, and two operating tables of different heights are designed according to actual usage needs. The sink is slightly higher than the cooking table, which improves the comfort and convenience of use. The layout of the kitchen has been carefully planned, which not only increases the storage space but also provides a spacious platform for the mother to show her cooking skills. The windows on both sides of the kitchen provide excellent ventilation and lighting effects, creating a bright and comfortable environment for cooking.
The design of my daughter’s room focuses on safety and versatility. Considering the growth needs of my daughter from 8 to 18 years old, we designed ample storage space so that she could grow over time without frequent layout changes. A sofa bar is placed on the wall side of the bed to ensure her safety in the room. An open cabinet is placed at the end of the bed to store books and toys for her convenience. The reading area is separated from the dressing table to avoid feng shui problems, while making rational use of space, making the room look spacious and tidy. The overall soft color tone of the room creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere, allowing children to study and grow here with peace of mind.
